Biophysical Journal held its first webinar, Super-resolution: redefining light microscopy for the 21st century, in collaboration with Cell Press and Leica Microsystems on September 8. More than 2,000 people registered for the webinar, and nearly 1,000 joined the webinar on the day of the event.
The event, moderated by David Wolf, Photonics Radiation Monitoring Devices, included speakers Stefan Hell, German Cancer Research Center; Hari Shroff, National Institutes of Health; and Paul R. Selvin, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Participants asked many questions at the end of the session, more than could be addressed in the allotted time.
