After last year’s blogging contribution, my research group has been promoted to official status by the Biophysical Society. Who we are: a group of mostly undergraduate researchers from Haverford College, located just west of Philadelphia. Last year’s group have all graduated and gone on to bigger and better things, so this year’s group are all BPS newcomers and will have their own unique perspective on the meeting.
We will arrive on Saturday for the subgroup sessions, which often contain the best talks of the BPS meeting and should really not be missed. We are driving down in a minivan, which makes me feel just a little bit like a soccer mom with some seriously grown up, yet still very rambunctious, kids in the back seat. I came to the Baltimore meeting in spring 2007, and my memory suggests that the site sets up very well for this meeting, unlike San Francisco (where Moscone was kind of a disaster but the city is an otherwise great location).
About me, if interested.
